This was the absolute cutest little cafe, the staff was so friendly and when I asked for recommendations because it was my first time there they took the time to have a discussion with me and ultimately my drink was delicious. On top of that, the breakfast sandwich, bacon egg cheese and pesto on a croissant, was literally the best breakfast sandwich I have EVER eaten and so worth it. I highly recommend checking out Starry Night Cafe when you have the chance!
An absolutely delightful little cafe. A good selection of breakfast options and some really good lattes. Special shoutout to the French Toast and Blueberry Pancake lattes, though all of them were good. I was in the area for a couple of days and intended to try a couple of different shops, but went there once and liked it so much that I just ended up coming back here. I also want to note that everyone there was very friendly! I will for sure be coming back here the next time I'm in the area.
This place is fantastic! The food was excellent and the (reishi/mushroom) coffee tasted like hot chocolate which was perfect b/c I don't like the taste of coffee!! The owner, Nancy, was so hospitable and explained every menu item and really made us feel welcome. She was terrific! We ate there and took stuff home for dinner and breakfast the next morning!! We will definitely be going back again and again!!
Starry Night Cafe is absolutely charming. Owned and operated by mother and daughter Nancy and Mia, they offer delectable baked goods - I'm very partial to Nancy's maple scones - and a variety of delicious and inventive handcrafted coffee specialties. They menu is constantly rotating with old favorites and seasonal treats so there's always something fun to try. Nancy and Mia are the sweetest, and the interior is a cozy mix of Van Gogh murals and black cat decor. There is always ample parking and the environment is incredibly welcoming, making the cafe a great place to pop in for a quick bite or catch up with friends. I cannot recommend them highly enough!
Heard about Starry through the RI Food fights, and I am not disappointed! The breakfast sandwich was excellent! I also tried their RI Coffee latte and it hit that coffee syrup flavor while not being overly sweet. If your in the area and looking for something that's unique give this place a try, you will NOT be disappointed!
Wonderful cafe with delicious coffee and freshly made baked goods. I got the French toast latte and was pleasantly surprised to learn that they don't skimp on shots of espresso like many other coffee shops. It had the perfect balance of espresso, milk and sweetness. They use quality coffee beans and both the latte and cold brew I tasted were smooth and well balanced. I also tried the cheddar biscuit bacon breakfast sandwhich which was also outstanding. The staff here is friendly and informative, and you can tell they care about connecting with their community. A great experience from start to finish and I will absolutely return!
i’ve heard of this cafe through friends but it’s a little bit of a drive for me but i had decided to take the drive when trying ri food flights and let me tell you i will be driving the 35-40 mins again to get the breakfast sandwich on a cheddar biscuit!! it was genuinely one of the best breakfast sandwiches ive had in a while. and the lattes are just as good and that’s a main reason i will be willing to make the drive to try again!
